Yes, we still are alive!!

It's been an amazing week and I'm going to try to give you a quick run down of everything. Tim has started his Super Bowl driving job which will last through Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. He driving for a company that's contracted to the NFL, so who knows who he'll meet.... Mylanie and I are busy packing. We will be official North Carolinaians (I hope that's a word!) as of Feb. 9th. The Lord has provided a place for us to stay through one of the members of Bro. Billy's church. It's a three bedroom house on about an acre of land with a small pond!! Tim is very excited about the pond!! Our Florida house may be rented we had someone come and look at it on Monday. We got about an hours notice. You should have seen the boxes fly!! They've given a verbal promise and we'll know by Friday if they put down a deposit. Plans for Jr Camp in North Carolina are progressing. The dates are July 6th-9th. We are praying that God will give us the property so we can host this camp on Stillwater land!! I think that brings us up-to-date on all the happenings. Feel free to send us a comment & let us know who's reading our blog!!

Back Home At Last!!

After 3,000+ miles, 6 meetings, 1 (very) car sick child, 1 slightly broken & fixed car, & 3 very tired family members, we made it back to Florida. We are now thawed out at almost back to normal. The Lord greatly blessed our trip to North Carolina. We made several new friends and had wonderful fellowship. For those of you in North Carolina, we will be hosting a Jr. Camp somewhere in the Benson area!! We will keep you posted on the dates and location. We are VERY excited (especially Wendy!) to add another week of camp to our summer! Stay tuned for futher details!!

Don't be Fooled...

...by these beautiful beach pictures!!

It's freezing here! The weather has been below 32 all day today. Mylanie put a glass of water outside last night just to see what would happen. It was frozen solid by morning.
Thursday was a bit warmer. The temperature was in the 40s during the day. Being a Florida family, we could not resist the call of the beach. We just had to bundle up and build a sandcastle!!

We're looking forward to being back in Florida soon!!!!!

SUNDAY PM REPORT

Thanks to the folks at Promise Baptist Church in Ruffin NC. We had a great service with them. Promise Baptist is pastored By David Bray and youth pastor David Bray jr. We enjoyed playing instruments and preaching there. We really looking forward to possibly seeing some of the kids at camp sometime. We are starting to adjust to cooler weather and will be meeting with people at this week. God bless to all.

Sunday AM Report

We spent a wonderful morning with Pastor Johnny Cook and his wife Judy at The Sanctuary. This is a new ministry, only a year old, and the 9th church started by Pastor Cook. The church is beautiful inside. They've done a great job to take away the "store front" feel. The service was wonderful and the music was great!! We received a warm welcome by the folks there and look forward to being with them again:)

Back to (Home) School!!

Like many of you we started back to school today. One of the nice things about homeschool is that we don't have to go anywhere and we can have lots of pj days!! At least when we're home. Homeschooling is going as well as school goes for an eight-year-old who really doesn't like school work. Right now, we're doing a combination of Abeka & ACE. Mylanie says homeschool is a lot easier because she's at home, and when you're done you're done for the day!
