A Thing of Beauty...

There are times in your life when you think things can't get any worse. You feel overwhelmed, lost & forgotten. The expected bills are overdue, the unexpected bills come & you lay it all at Jesus' feet with tear. Then He shows you a thing of beauty and answers & blessed beyond your wildest dreams! This week has been a week like that. The lowest lows & the highest highs. We're here to tell you that God doesn't forget you!! This week He has sent some amazing blessings and we are thanking Him so much!! Thanks to all who are praying for us & Stillwater. We love & appreciate you!!! Happy Birthday, Tim!!

Today is my wonderful husband's birthday. Guess what he got?

A friend found out that Tim enjoyed motorcycles and said that he had one that he wasn't using and it needed a bit of mechanical work. He showed it to Tim today and said that he could have if he wanted it!! Of course my husband said, "YES!!!" This is a bike Tim has always dreamed of!! God really does give you the desires of your heart when you follow him!! Now all we have to do is get it running:)

Back to School!

I have decided that when you homeschool, the first day of school is no big deal!! We started school today. We just rolled out of bed, got out the books, and started. That's it. Nobody was nervous. We didn't have to go back home because we forgot our lunch! And by the way, school doesn't start here until 9:30!! There are some serious advantages to homeschooling:)

Today, Mylanie also got a new pair of glasses. Doesn't she look cute?

Happy Birthday!

Today is Tim's mom's birthday. I won't tell you how old she is, you'll have to ask her. We were able to spend part of this week in GA with her for her birthday!! Happy Birthday!! We love you!!

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!!

Today is my parents 37th wedding anniversary. I just wanted to say happy anniversary!! My parents have a wonderful anniversary tradition. For each year that they have been married, my dad buys mom a rose, so this year my mom enjoyed a vaseful of 37 roses!! Happy Anniversary!! I love you!

Teen Retreat:)

We had an awesome Teen Camp this year with 24 teens!! The human foosball court was great. We have an opportunity to do some teen revivals and we'll be able to have a foosball tournament. It's going to be a lot of fun! The amazing race went well, no one got lost. Each group was able to visit a different home-bound family from Benson Grove. We had one teenager accept Christ as well as about 20 of them make a committment to stay pure for marriage!!

Harvest Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, NC

We attended a wonderful conference at Harvest Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, NC. ( July 26th-29th) We had a wonderful time. Once again, we made some wonderful, life-long friends. We know that these people are the sweetest & kindest people!! Once again, we left things at church! This is becoming a regular habit!! I'm thankful that God attached our heads to our necks, otherwise, my family would spend most of our lives without our heads!! Anyhow, they graciously sent our camera and music CDs back to us instead of selling them on ebay!! That's why this post is so late. We didn't have the picture of the church!! We appreciate you all very much!!
