Ephesus Baptist Church!!!

Thanks to the kind folks at Epehesus Baptist in Raleigh NC for having us play, present and preach. We enjoyed being there. Wendy was able to sneak into their handbell choir for a few minutes and really enjoyed that. Pastor Greg did a great job of making us feel welcome. We look forward to going back in a few weeks and seeing there Live Last Supper drama. If you are in the area it will be April 9 at 7:30 pm. God Bless you all may we ask everyone to pray for the lease option proposal that we are working on for the camp.

We were able to have home school field trip day today and we also added a pic or two of the trip! We went to the NC aquarium at Kure Beach.

Things we've learned since moving to NC...

  1. Wrong turns are unaviodable & maybe even necessary to learn where to go & where NOT to go!!
  2. Electric blankets are great!!
  3. Outlet stores are to be visited frequently (especially Bath & Body Works & Yankee Candle!)
  4. Sweatshirts and jackets are required.
  5. You will always need one more document for the government office you're in (DMV, Post Office, etc) expect to come back at least twice!!
  6. Things have a way of multiplying when you put them in a box!
  7. Hangers are easier to pack than unpack!
  8. If you go to the butcher shop, be prepared to sit a spell & share a story!!
  9. If you need it, someone probably has it in "the barn"!
  10. No matter how many times you turn down it, Walden Pond Rd will still be a dead end!!

I need a goat!!!

Since our return from Pa we have been buried in paperwork and I would love to find a goat to feed the paper too. But truthfully God has really blessed with a lot of help in getting our 501c3 acpplication process to roll smoothly. We have some wonderful help from some Christian Cpas in the triangle region that have made the process go much easier. We have also been writing the bylaws of stillwater, setting up church meetings, and some where in there a few odd jobs to help the bills. We will be having our first board of directors meeting within the next two weeks.

If friends would like to listen we will be preaching at our new home church Benson Grove Baptist on Sun night. Their services do not start until 6:30 pm so many of you may be home from 6 o clock services by the time the message starts. If so listen in at Bensongrovebaptist.org and click the listen live link. We will post a pic next week of the church.

An open house at Stillwater Concert and Cookout is being planned at Stillwater lodge for April 11th. More details will be on the way soon.

All who are in the Florida Ga region please check out the camp calvary page with upcoming camp info.

Snow!! Snow!! Snow!!

I know you northerners are going to laugh when you see the video, but to one little Florida girl, there was a huge amount of snow!! Mylanie was so excited to see this little bit of snow. She took about 100 pictures of it! I am so thankful for digital cameras!! I chose a few of the best ones for you to see. Mylanie's total impression of snow was "Cold!!" We did have a lot of fun and a few snowball fights. The temperature didn't get out of the teens, so we couldn't stay out for very long. We send a very special "Thank you!" to the Walkers for letting us stay an extra day so we could enjoy the snow and show Mylanie some of my hometown sights! We appreciate you all!!Thanks a lot:)

THANK YOU Pastor Hogle and WGOJ RADIO

I would like to say a special thank to Dr. Hogle for his encouragement and great advice that we received. As well thank you so much for allowing us to participate in a week long radio interview concerning Stillwater with the WGOJ radio audience. God bless you all and once again many thanks.

Our trip - State by State

This sign says welcome to Virginia. Can you see it? Neither could we!! The first half of our trip to PA looked mostly like this.

We missed the Maryland welcome sign, so this will have to do. By the time we got through VA, the rain had stopped and it was sunny. The temperature was in the 30's!!

We made it safely to Pennsylvania without any problems!! We made it to Homer City around 9pm. We stayed the night in the prophet's chamber at Victory Baptist Church. We are VERY thankful for the wonderful heating that the Church had!!!We had a wonderful Sunday morning service with the people at Victory Baptist Church. Then it was on the road again!!

We made it safely to Ohio Sunday afternoon...
And to my home church, South Ridge Baptist Church, Conneaut, Ohio. It was great to be with everyone there and see friends that we haven't seen in a while. The kids have all grown up!! Some of them had to tell me their names again!! All in all it has been a great trip so far! We've enjoyed everything but the cold!!!
